Noritake Art Deco Lustreware Sugar & Creamer, 1930's, The sugar shaker is 6 1/4" tall, the creamer is 5 3/4" tall. They are decorated with bands of brilliant orange lustre and the handle and rim of the creamer and shaker top are finished in gleaming metallic gold. The background is off white and each is decorated with a wide band of bright blue & white mottled background decorated with an art deco bowl of fruit on the front and a smaller group of fruit on the back attached to the front with cascading drapery. Very bright, colorful and cheerful design. The creamer is signed with the red M-in-Wreath Noritake, Hand Painted, Made in Japan backstamp. The shaker is stamped with a red, Made in Japan.
