DeVilbiss powder jar, 1928, 4 3/4" diameter, The gleaming black opaque jar is deeply embossed with 3 heavily cut Nouveau style flowers. It is covered with a heavy shiny brass lid embossed with gorgeous nouveau styled Lotus leaves and is topped with a beautiful grained wooden handle. The inside of the lid is mirrored. The jar is signed on bottom, Made in USA DeVilbiss. This was part of the DeLuxe Vanity # 2507 set original sold in 1928. The jar matches item PS1826C, DeVilbiss Metal Stem Perfume Atomizer.
