Victorian perfume bottle "Tantalus" holder with twin perfume bottles, circa 1895, 4 1/2" tall x 5" long x 3" wide. Fabulous perfume bottle holder clad in vibrant deep purple moire fabric .The holder is adorned with brass accents on each corner of the base and 2 brass rimmed, hinged curved and beveled clear glass windows held closed by a hinged clasp. The inside is lined in gleaming beige moire and each space houses a clear beveled perfume bottle with beveled stopper. Each bottle is 3" tall. What a gorgeous presentation. no signature.
